Join us for an evening honouring celebrated Irish poet Leland Bardwell (1922 - 2016), during the anniversary year of her 100th birthday.

The centrepiece of this event is A fine example of how (not) to live, an original soundscape by composer John McLachlan (Leland’s son), featuring live clarinet by Paul Roe performed against a track of recorded clarinet which features voice recordings of texts taken from Bardwell’s poems, stories and her memoir resulting in a work which is collage and dreamlike. Joining us on the evening will be poet Mary Branley, writer Nicholas McLachlan (also a son of Leland), Margo Barrow, Tara Baoth Mooney, Cliodhna Quinlan and Brian Leyden from Lepus Print.
