Join us for an unforgettable performance with Cathy Jordan (bodhrán, bouzouki, guitarlele, vocals), Claudia Schwab (fiddle, vocals) and Irene Buckley (electronics, loops, vocals) as they present the release of Plúirín na mBan, a body of work which had its origins through an Arts Council of Ireland Traditional Arts Award in 2020. Immerse yourself in a mesmerising soundscape celebrating ancient Irish songs with atmospheric drone, pulsating bodhrán rhythms, fiddle delay and intricate vocal harmonies.
The trio have created a new sound world, celebrating the roots of Irish music whilst experiencing the possibilities of a fresh and contemporary approach.
