Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh makes music on a 10-string fiddle called the hardanger d’amore. He travels the world as a solo artist, in duos with Dan Trueman, Brendan Begley and Mick O’Brien and as part of the groups The Gloaming and This is How We Fly. He has performed on some of the most beautiful stages in the world, including the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall. To date, he has made eighteen recordings, ranging from quite traditional to fairly out there, and continues to explore the region where traditional music begins to disintegrate.
Cairde is delighted to team up with Markree Castle again this year to offer a special three-course post-concert dinner for audiences. You have the choice to buy concert-only tickets or concert-plus-dinner tickets. Dinner tickets are limited, so reserve yours early!
“The most imaginative and fascinating musician in all of trad.”
