Clublandia is Sligo’s fully inclusive club night, taking place quarterly and proudly run by the Sligo Centre for Independent Living in partnership with Good Times. Embracing the joy of an early night out, Clublandia offers a brilliant evening on the dance floor, with all the fun and none of the late-night fatigue. Dance your heart out and still be tucked up in bed at a sensible hour! This year, Cairde Sligo Arts Festival is thrilled to once again collaborate with Clublandia for a special festival edition. Get ready for DJ Nigel Gallagher, spinning everything from ‘70s disco and ‘80s classics to ‘90s anthems and ‘00s bangers followed by the high-energy, disco-funk extravaganza of live band Plan C.
Thanks to support from Sligo LEADER Partnership, Cairde in collaboration with Sligo Centre for Independent Living and Clublandia have been running DJ workshops facilitated by Nigel Gallagher and Edel Doherty. This festival will see some of our rising stars take to the decks for their debut performances! Clublandia also welcomes back the ever-popular dress-up box and photo booth with Amy, and you can expect some very special festival guests to join the fun.
