There’s a drinking water fountain with an ‘Out of Order’ sign hanging on it. 

Colmo, a lanky, clumsy plumber, arrives carrying a clatter of pipes and equipment. He does his best to fix the water fountain, though with that chaos and craic quickly follow, with slapstick and comedy falling over themselves to catch up. 

Physical theatre, object manipulation and a symphony of absurd live music all collide with contemporary clown, culminating in an unforgettable stunt of stupidity. Colm O’Grady’s new creation is an adventure in comedy, an original visual feast with elements and inventions that the world has never seen, for example the world’s first Whoopee Cushion One Man Organ. 

Kindly supported by the Arts Council of Ireland Street Arts and Spectacle, Fountain of Joy is a ridiculous piece of street theatre, taking an everyday piece of street furniture and creating a unique comedy universe. It’s a real Fountain of Joy!
