Aindrias de Staic brings his unmistakable blend of storytelling, music and wild imagination to Cairde Sligo Arts Festival in a solo performance that’s as captivating as it is unpredictable. A master fiddler and natural seanchaí, Aindrias weaves vivid tales with electrifying fiddle playing, drawing audiences into a world where humour, folklore and lived experience collide. Known for his larger-than-life stage presence and razor-sharp wit, his performances move seamlessly between heartfelt reflection and laugh-out-loud moments. Rooted in the west of Ireland yet shaped by years of travel and performance around the globe, his stories carry a rich sense of place while speaking to something universal.
Part theatre, part trad session, and entirely original, this is intimate, immersive storytelling at its finest. Raw, rhythmic and deeply human: expect music that stirs the soul, stories that linger, and a performer who holds a room in the palm of his hand.
